Crying Backwards was shocked at sudden death of Bill
Sherman as the result of an accident in Florida last week
Bill was the husband of Dorothy Sherman who was
Crying Backwards' backup harmony vocalist until
her and Bill moved too far away to be part of the group
Bill was a good guy and was very much liked by
everyone that ever met him.
Our hearts and prayers go out to his family

Crying Backwards and friends has lost a dear friend on this day of 3/12/08.
Paul Patnaude, a dear friend of ours who has seen every
incarnation of Crying Backwards has passed away.
Paul was a regular at the Singer household, and a close
friend of Barb and Tommy's and a big fan of the band.
Paul could be found almost every weekend at rehearsals.
This coming summer and all summers to come will never
be the same without his presence, humor and wit that would
not quit. He now walks in the presence of some of the members
of his favorite band (next to Crying Backwards) The Beatles.
Paul was a practicing Beatle fan, and especially loved the music
of Paul McCartney. Paul was also close to Barb's Dad, who passed
away a few years ago and we are sure those two are
having a few cold ones together and laughing at all of us!
Paul's Mom passed away about three weeks ago and we
are sure the mother and child reunion is great.
Paul is also with Skipper, his beloved Golden Retriever
that he lost a few years ago. I am sure it is a great reunion as well.
Rest in Peace, Paul. We Love You.... and please, save a few
brewskis for us when we get there too, ok? See you eventually...
until then, watch us and try not to laugh too hard!

Hey all you CB fans! We just released a few of our original
tunes to www.audiographics.com, a company that is
dedicated to helping unsigned bands get exposure.
Our song, Deluded Brain has made their top 10
and will now be released for internet radio stations to
give it airplay. This is GOOD! You may download
a copy of the song by going to www.rradiomusic.com/artists/rock.htm.
Cut and past it in your browser, it should take you there.

Crying Backwards and friends mourn the loss of their number one fan,
Daisy "Bitus" Singer. Daisy, the most loveable Rottweiler in the world
and biggest fan of the band passed away on 1/17/07. She was 12 years old.
Daisy loved to be in the band room during rehearsals and was known to have
only missed one rehearsal since the formation of the band due to dental
surgery. She trully loved the music and loved to be there.

As many of you already know, John Couey, the monster
who kidnapped, sexually assaulted and murdered
9 year old Jessica Marie Lunsford was
convicted of her murder on 3/7/07 and has been sentenced to death. Thanks to the efforts of Mark Lunsford, Jessica's father, and everyone who has supported the Jessica Marie Lunsford Foundation and who has taken the time to write to their elected officials, our kids are a little bit safer tonight. Mark has been fighting for the rights of our kids since this thing has happened to his child. It is a shame that it took a tragedy like that to get the attention of the public as well as our elected officials to start the ball rolling and do something about this. Mark did not stop when most of us would not have had the courage to go on. Thanks to his unfailing energy and persistence, state by state, we are passing Jessie's laws to put child predators behind bars for a minimum of 25 years for a first offense. Maryland, has FINALLY passed the law! Now we need to get it passed across the board, federally. Let's not stop now! Keep the e-mails and letters rolling!
